A warm embrace from Swiss hospitality

Dani and Linda welcomed us like family, always eager to share their favorite hiking spots and local attractions. The view from our room was amazing, and the freshly baked pastries left outside our door was a good surprise every morning.

This hotel exceeded all expectations! The food was good - lots of options. Choose king room with a balcony. The staff were excellent, had a great attitude. The location was nice and beautiful - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go.

it is ideal hotel with very amiable staff, the location is absolutely perfect. the atmosphere of the property is charming. great service, the breakfast is gorgeous. keep in mind, the parking is next to the building.

The bathrooms are quite small.

Unfortunately, the room size felt a bit cramped, especially with two large suitcases. It limited our ability to spread out comfortably. The limited dining options nearby meant we had to plan ahead for meals, made things a bit tricky at times.

The owners were friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and cosy, and the view from the balcony was very nice.

There should have been better directions on how to get there. I was aware that there was a bus going past the area every hour, but was not told where to get off and how long a walk it would be from the nearest bus stop. So I had to spend chf53 on a cab ride from Interlaken West, which I wasn't too happy about. I think the hotel's website should give guests detailed instructions to get there by bus.

Staying at Fassbind was a highlight. Dani and Linda's warmth. The amazing views of Lake Thun from my room stunned. Clean rooms was really nice, and the decor felt authentically Swiss. Breakfast included local cheeses and freshly baked breads, a real treat. Limited dining options nearby left me looking for meals outside the hotel. The room size felt a bit cramped, affecting comfort slightly. Despite this, the charm of the hotel and the hosts' hospitality were great. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a cozy Swiss escape!

As it is traditional Swiss Chalet house, insulation between room is not good enoung. You can hear room next door.

The hotel is located in a very good location. In the small balcony you can see the lake Thun and the mont JUNGFRAU, Monch and Eiger. The hotel host is a very nice couple, they are very helpful. The husband is hotel chef and the meal he cooked is nice and cheaper than restaurants outside.

The hotel room (room #9) we stay is very samll, even smaller than the hotel room we stayed in Paris. The price is high. Base on the the hostess' information, all hotel room has same price, next time if I can not book the big room, I will stay at another hotel.

The hospitality of the hosts was a standout, with Dani and Linda ensuring every need was met, made for an cute atmosphere. Breakfast was really good, with abundant local products. The room felt a bit cramped with larger suitcases, impacting overall comfort .

The rooms were very nice, great confort in a typical swiss chalet. We are a familiy of 5 and were confortably installed. Good breakfast. Quiet expensive in relation with other hotels of the same category in other countries.

Quiet difficult to find the way to Beatenberg, being in Interlaken. There are nearly no signs and it was dark in the night. We also had bad time in the morning, with coulds all the time and couldn't see the mountains, which ere our main interest. It seems it may happen often in Fall time.

Don't miss Dani's unique fondue dinner. It's a good experience showcasing authentic Swiss cuisine with a personal touch.

Had an amazing time at Fassbind! Dani and Linda. The fine views of Lake Thun from our room blew us away, and breakfast packed with local delights was a real treat. Just wish the room was a bit cooler on hot nights!

The views from our room were fine, and the breakfast spread was fantastic, with local delights. We enjoyed playing tennis and had a fun day skiing with a free shuttle to the slopes. Perfect for an active vacation! Dani and Linda were very nice hosts.

Only downside was the limited dining options outside the hotel, which might require planning ahead for meals.

Limited dining options outside the hotel can leave you scrambling for meals!!! Noise from nearby areas might interrupt your peaceful getaway!!! Inconsistent internet connectivity can be frustrating when you need to stay connected!!!
